कर्नाटक हिजाब मामले में कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट के अंतरिम आदेश को अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दे दी गई है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक छात्र ने इस मामले में याचिका डाली है। बता दें कि कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट ने गुरुवार को आदेश जारी किया था कि याचिका के लंबित रहने तक कोई भी स्कूल कॉलेजों में धार्मिक ड्रेस ना पहने। इसमें स्कूल कॉलेजों को खोले जाने को भी कहा था। मामले की सुनवाई हाईकोर्ट में सोमवार को भी जारी रहेगी।

हाईकोर्ट ने अपने आदेश में कहा कि हम आदेश पारित करेंगे। तब तक स्कूल-कालेज शुरू होने दें। लेकिन जब तक मामला सुलझ नहीं जाता तब तक किसी को भी धार्मिक पोशाक पहनने की इजाजत नहीं होगी। हाईकोर्ट ने कहा, ‘धार्मिक कपड़े जैसे- हिजाब या फिर भगवा शॉल फैसले के निपटारे तक स्कूल-कालेज परिसरों में नहीं पहने जाएंगे। हम सभी को रोकेंगे। क्योंकि हम राज्य में अमन चैन चाहते हैं। हाईकोर्ट मुस्लिम छात्राओं की ओर से कालेजों में हिजाब बैन को चुनौती देने वाली याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई कर रहा है।
कोर्ट में कई मामले हैं विचाराधीन
मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान प्रदेश हाईकोर्ट ने कहा है कि फिलहाल वो अन्य मुद्दे पर भी विचार कर रहे हैं कि क्या हेडस्कार्फ पहनना मौलिक अधिकारों के अंतर्गत आता है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि साथ ही वो इस बात पर भी विचार कर रहे हैं कि क्या हेडस्कार्फ पहनना धार्मिक परम्परा का एक अनिवार्य हिस्सा है।
यूथ कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में डाली याचिका
दूसरी ओर गुरुवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक नई याचिका दायर की गयी है। यूथ कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष बीवी श्रीनिवास और एक पत्रकारिता के छात्र ने इस याचिका में धर्म के पालन के अधिकार को संविधान में मौलिक अधिकार बताया है। याचिका में कहा गया है कि यह मौलिक अधिकारों का सीधा उल्लंघन है और साथ ही कई राज्यों में ऐसी घटनाएं हो रही हैं इसलिए बेहतर होगा कि शीर्ष अदालत इसका संज्ञान लें।
